Logging in on your WordPress website
You receive login credentials, so that you can log in on your WordPress website, from your web host or your web designer.
These login credentials are sent to you by email.
You don’t only get login credentials. You also receive a URL (website name, domain name) of the page where you can log in.
By logging in via a URL, you can log in on your WordPress website anywhere in the world.
A prerequisite is, naturally, that you have access to the internet.
This is how you log in on your WordPress website
By using 1 of the URLs below you arrive at the login screen of WordPress:
1. Go to: www.jouwdomeinnaam.com/wp-admin
2. Go to: www.jouwdomeinnaam.com/wp-login.php
Fill in your username there. This can be a name you choose yourself. Often it is also “admin”
Then fill your password in.
You have received the information above by email from your web host or web designer.

If logging in on WordPress has been succesful, you end up on the WordPress dashboard
Logging in on your WordPress website is not succesful
If logging in is not succesful, check once again very carefully your login credentials.
For this, see the email of your web host or web designer.
Try, if necessary, to copy and paste the information from this email to the WordPress login screen.
If logging in really isn’t succesful, click on “forgotten password?” and follow the instructions.
You then need to indicate your email address. You receive a link there that allows to make a new password yourself.
The WordPress username is always mentioned in the same email.
